Distortion product otoacoustic emissions(DPOAEs) evoked by two pure tones carry information about the mechanisms that generate and form them.Thus,DPOAEs hold promise for providing powerful noninvasive diagnostic details of cochlear operations,middle-ear(ME) transmissions,and impairments.
