How to Measure Aided Thresholds with Active Middle Ear Implants

摘要：

Objective:In conventional hearing aids,gain can be measured objectively,in a 2cc coupler or in real ears.In active middle ear implants(AMEI),the output signal is not accessible to objective measurements,so effective gain is usually determined psychoacoustically,by measuring aided sound field threshold and subtracting unaided threshold(sound field for SNHL,bone conduction for mixed HL).
