Vibration of human tympanic membrane(TM) has been used to produce electrical power IN piezoelectric acoustic sensors of fully implantable cochlear implants(FICIs).Besides,several TM driving electromagnetic transducers for middle ear implants have been developed as an alternative to conventional hearing aids.
