Accretion disk coupled with corona in outbursts
The commonly-accepted model to explain the outbursts in compact objects is the disk instability model. The observational change in flux and spectrum is attributed to the local limit-cycle in the standard accretion disk. The model was first developed in dwarf novae and postulated to correspond for the outbursts of X-ray novae. In this work,we investigated the instability of the accretion disk coupled with an overlying corona, which was not taken into account previously, whereas we believe it plays a vital role and has potential observational effects in outbursts. Our model is expected to be applied to the observed light curve of X-ray novae in the future.
