DELIGNIFICATION OF COTTON STALK AND SESAME STRAW BY CO2 SUPERCRITICAL FLUID

Lignin whose structure is far more complex than cellulose is second only to cellulose in biomass as natural polymers and is not fully rational use of renewable resources. It is great significance for the full utilization of renewable resources of various sources of lignin in different environment.A technology of CO2 supercritical fluid extracton was adopted to remove the lignin in cotton stalk and sesame straw.First,by Van Soest method, the content of lignin and Cellulose was evaluated through orthogonal experiments. At the same time using GC-MS of supercritical CO2 extraction fluid composition was analyzed under different conditions. The results showed that the temperature and time had important effect on the degradation and removal behavior of lignin. With the temperature rise will also lead to other carbohydrates, the degradation of cellulose and hemicellulose to generate phenolic, dioxolane ring material.Using thermogravimetric analysis and scanning electron microscope(SEM)and other means of super critical extraction before and after extraction compared. The results show that super critical residues of wood are renowned for their spherical particles randomly distributed on the surface of the cellulose, particles on the surface of Lignin-carbohydrate complex, and the wooden prime-carbohydrate complex is caused by residual lignin to the main reason for the removal of one.
