HYDRODYNAMIC CAVITATION EQUIPMENT ASSISTED PRETREATMENT THE DELIGNIFICATION OF BAGASSE

  In order to find a clean pulping method,a set of hydrodynamic cavitation equipment is designed to assist the delignification of bagasse by combining the characteristics of bagasse raw materials.Bagasse material is used KOH solution at room temperature for 48h and then input the cavitation treatment equipment.Hydrodynamic cavitation reactor used in the work is basically a stator and rotor assembly,where the rotor is provided with indentations and cavitational events are expected to occur on the surface of rotor as well as within the indentations.Methylene blue is used to capture the free radicals generated by cavitation equipment.The experimental results show that the free radicals generated by cavitation equipment increase linearly with the increase of cavitation time.When the cavitation time is 40 min,the inlet pressure is 0.5 MPa,the rotor speed is 2700 r and the free radical concentration is 4.5 μmol/l for 40 min that most of the lignin is removed from the raw material.The residual lignin content is about 5%.The paper tensile and tear index show that bagasse pulp produced by this method can meet the performance requirements of paper.
