OPTIMIZATION OF MULBERRY STALK SCMP HYDROGEN PEROXIDE BLEACHING PROCESS

  Mulberry stalk bast has advantages of long fiber and length-width ratio,is equivalent to coniferous wood fiber,this paper mainly studies mulberry stalk sulfonated chemical mechanical pulp(SCMP)hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)bleaching.First,We investigated the effect of seven factors(bleaching agent,alkali,bleaching temperature,etc)through single factor experiment.Furthermore,this research evaluated these seven factors significantly with Plackett-Burman in MODDE(Modeling and Design)and obtains that the most significant factors are temperature,time and the amount of hydrogen peroxide.Then,the three main factors and their respective four levels of mulberry stalk SCMP hydrogen peroxide bleaching has been designed and analyzed by Respones Surface Methodology(RSM)in MODDE.Finally,combined the single factor experiment with MODDE to acquire the optimal bleaching process: temperature 90℃,reaction time 104 min,pulp concentration 15%,the alkali ratio and the dosages of H2O2,Na2SiO3,MgSO4 are 0.7,8%,0.3%and 0.10%,respectively.
