SOURCE AND DESTINATION OF AOX IN COOKING AND BLEACHING OF WHEAT STRAW AND ITS IMPACT ON EFFLUENT DISCHARGE

　　The source and destination of AOX in cooking and bleaching of wheat straw and its impact on effluent discharge were studied.The results showed that the AOX of wheat straw raw was 275.77 mg·kg-1,and the AOX had 3 offices in the cooking stage.AOX was mainly formed in the D segment in the process of DEP bleaching of wheat straw pulp.It generated around 998 mg·kg-1 AOX in pulp was not easy to wash out after the different conditions of physical washing.The content of AOX in the final pulp was still above 172 mg·kg-1.The emission of AOX was generally not exceed the emission limit values,if process conditions of ECF bleaching were controlled well.
