The Source of AOX in Products of China Pulp and Paper Industry and Its Reduction Suggestions

　　The AOX of some paper products,pulps,typical materials and related chemicals was analyzed using the AOX analyzer.A preliminary understanding of the source of AOX in pulp and paper industry was studied,and some reduction suggestions were put forward.The results showed that the collected paper products,pulp,chemicals and raw materials contained AOX.The sources of AOX in the pulp and paper industry were pesticide residue in the raw materials,water,chemicals and the using of chlorine bleach.Can use source control,clean production technology and formulation of relevant product standards could be used to reduce the AOX production in Chinas pulp and paper industry.
