PREPARATION OF CELLULOSE/GRAPHENE CONDUCTIVE PAPER AND ITS APPLICATION IN SUPERCAPACITOR
Paper as a flexible and foldable 3D porous material has shown great potential in energy storage. In order to increase the conductivity of paper-based materials, this study prepared cellulose/graphene composites by conventional papermaking method. The negatively charged graphene oxide and positively charged cationic polycrylamide were added in pulp, and the negatively charged graphene oxide was coated on the cellulose fiber by electrostatic self-assembly process. The cellulose/graphene conductive paper was obtained after reducing graphene oxide with vitamin C.The cellulose/graphene paper shows improved mechanical strength and good electrical properties due to the formation of continuous conductive network. When applied as the electrode material of supercapacitor, the conductive paper exhibits a high rate capability and excellent cycling stability, exhibiting high potential in flexible energy storage.
