Kinetics of AOX Formation During the First Chlorine Dioxide Bleaching Stage(D0)of Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp
In order to provide theoretical basis to reduce adsorbable organic halogens(AOX)formation, the kinetic models of the first chlorine dioxide bleaching stages(D0)was presented for elemental chlorine free(ECF)bleaching eucalyptus kraft pulp. The kinetic of D0 stage could be expressed as dW/dt=314.6e-20.53/RTH+0.21ClO20.41K0.98,where the reaction order for lignin, chlorine dioxide dosage and H+concentration were 0.98,0.41 and 0.21,respectively.The reaction activation energy was 20.53 KJ.mol-1.R2 was more than 0.9,it means that the model was proved to have the ability of high prognostic and feasible. In D0 stage, lignin was mainly removed and the reaction was fast, much AOX was formed at the beginning of bleaching.
