EFFECT OF LIGNIN ON DIFFERENT ENZYME OF CELLULASE AND POSSIBLE MECHANISMS
During enzymatic hydrolysis of corn stover pretreated with liquor hot water(LHW),the lignin in the solid substrate could negatively affect the enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose due to enzyme nonproductive adsorption onto lignin or deactivating cellulases. To understand the lignin effect, cellulase was produced by liquid fermentation of Penicillium oxalicum and lignin samples were isolated from corn stover after LHW pretreatment. The effects of the lignin on different enzyme activities such as cellobiohydrolase(CBH),xylanase, endoglucanase(EG)and β-glucosidase(BGL)were studied, and possible mechanism was investigated.
