FABRICATION OF LIGHT-TRIGGERED AuNP/CNC/SMP NANOCOMPOSITES
Nanocellulose,an abundant natural source,can be used to immobilize particles on the surface.A series size and content of gold nanoparticles(AuNP)immobilized on nanocellulose(CNC)were prepared.The size of AuNP ranging from 15 nm to 39 nm can be obtained when controlled the molar ratio of Na3Ct/HAuCl4 from 3.5 to 0.9 in the presence of CNCs.The obtained AuNP/CNC nanohybrids then blended with shape-memory polyurethane(SMP)to prepare the light-triggered AuNP/CNC/SMP nanocomposites though solvent conversion and solution casting method.The nanocomposites films were endowed with higher mechanical properties due to the existing of CNCs and striking remote-control light-triggered shape memory properties.Moreover,the CNCs not only act as a reinforcement agent but also can enhance the photo thermal effect of AuNPs by preventing the aggregation of AuNPs.At the same time,it was found the content of AuNPs with existing of CNCs has a stronger effect on the elevated temperature(△T)and the shape memory properties of films in comparison to the size of AuNPs.The film contained 0.35 wt%AuNP/CNCs recovered the straight shape recovery within 19 s of the laser exposure.
