The Extraction Method of Image Parameters for Meshing Marks of Heavy Trucks Hypoid Gear
In order to ensure the bevel gear pair can normally mesh,it is necessary to check if the gear pair meshing mark is correct after the completion of assembly of the main reducer.In this paper,image intake means are used to read the gear pair meshing mark automatically.Based on the analysis of the gray scale of the gearing mesh mark,the image is enhanced by the way of piecewise linear gray transformation.The edge of the gearing mesh mark and tooth profile is highlighted through enhancing its contrast.Then the image edge was extracted by the Canny operator.The research method has been applied in the hypoid gear tooth surface meshing marks picking-up and parameter analysis of the image for the main reducer.
