Geometric Accuracy Modeling of Precision Machine Tools Based on ey Characteristics
High precision machine tools require a high machining and assembly accuracy,usually of a few nanometers.In this paper,kinematic errors are analyzed by using lower numbered body array.Then,position and posture transformationsareexpressed by adopting homogeneous transformation matrix.Finallya multi-layered geometric variation propagationmodel based on key characteristics is built,which includes machining space volume error,kinematic error of machine tools and geometric error of parts.This modeling method can be applied to any machine toolsof topological structure of series connection,revealing the mapping relation between those three types of errors.
