Beam-coupling Assemblyfor Ring Laser Gyroscopes
Thebeam-coupling is a precise process of beam interference by adjusting and assembling a prism and a phototube,which is a key step called beam-coupling assembly in the manufacturing process of ring laser gyroscopes.In this paper,the principle of beam-coupling assembly of ring laser gyroscopes is illustrated.A method realizing real time calculation of key parameters including light intensity,amplitude difference and phase difference with Lissajous patterns is proposed.In order to perform the beam-coupling assembly accurately,an automatic assembly system is developed.The experimental results show that the proposed calculation method of key parameters can be applied to practical productionand the assembly system can accomplishthe precise assembly task successfully.
