Test Method of High Temperature Hardness of Cemented Carbide
In this study,a high temperature hardness tester has been developed,and the basic structure,main performance and advantages of the high temperature hardness tester were introduced.Then,the Vickers indentation test was carried out under the load of 30 kg.It was found that the hardness of the cemented carbide decreased with the increase of temperature,and the value is reduced by about 43%from room temperature to 1000 ℃.The error between the hardness measured at room temperature and the known hardness value is 1.2%.
