Analysis on the meshing characteristics of curve face gear pair
Curve face gear pair is a new gear type,which can be applied for percussion drill because of its variable transmission ratio and simplified structure.During the meshing process of this face gear pair,the contact characteristics is reflected by the loaded tooth contact analysis(LTCA).Based on the gear meshing theory and localized contact method,the mathematical equations and meshing equations of the gear pair was obtained.Also the loaded tooth contact analysis of curve face gear pair was presented by the method of Boussinesq problems,.A related experiment was proposed to verify the correctness of theoretical mode.
