Air Bearing Guided Linear Motion System Controller Tuning for Identifying Damping Coefficient by Eddy Current Damper
Recently,the precision of manufacturing equipment is importantdue to the development of electronic devices.For precision motion system,we design air bearing guided 1-axis linear motion system.Air bearing has low friction by air film.However,it is hard to control that air bearing guided system has low damping.We propose eddy current damper(ECD)to increase the system damping.The ECD maintain the advantages of the air bearing by operating in a non-contact state.In this research,experimentally verify the force of the ECD.Through the system identifying damping coefficient,we tuned the controller parameter for air bearing guided linear motion system.The optimization of controller parameter verified with experimental comparison.
