Effect of Al Content on Microstructure and Properties of Fe-8.3Mn-xAl-1C Medium Manganese Low Density Steel
Due to the rapid development of the automobile industry,the demand for lightweight steel is increasing,and the development and research of high-aluminum low-density steel have become a hotspot in the field of automobile steel.In this paper,the effects of different Al contents on the microstructure and properties of Fe-8.3Mn-xAl-1C medium manganese low density steels were studied by means of XRD,SEM and OM.The preliminary results show that with the increase of Al content in the medium manganese low density steel,the microstructure and grain size of the steel have changed greatly,which affects the mechanical properties of the steel.
