Study on the influx of Heat and Humidity from the Three Gorges Reservoir on Local Area
There were controversies on the research for the impact on local climate of the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR)for a long time,due to the previous studies purely focused on the air parameters change,which leaded to the inconsistency of the climate impact of the TGR.Bases on an obvious fact that the heat and moisture exchange between the Three Gorges Reservoir and the local climate is completed on the interface of the water body and the upper surface air,this paper presents judgment formula to definite the cold,hot,dry and wet effects of the water on the air.With 7 times for 24 hours periodic field measurements in Chongqing,the paper provides the data of influx of heat and humidity from the Three Gorges Reservoir on local area.By analyzing the parameters involved in heat and humidity transfer,the results show that the heat and humidity effects of the TGR on the local climate can be quantified in one test cycle.
