In todays competitive markets, many suppliers offer their products on trade credit to stimulate sales and reduce inventory. And thus, trade credit has become one of the important research topics in the field of supply chain management. The paper considers a two-echelon supply chain of ameliorating items consisted of a single supplier and n retailers, and allows the retailers to delay in payments as a type of price reduction provided by the suppers. In this article, the functions of total profit per unit time for the retailers are built up separately under independent procurement and joint procurement.Through the comparison, the sufficient conditions that joint procurement is superior to independent procurement are obtained.Afterwards, the paper treats the total profit per unit time of joint procurement as the allocation object, applies multiple persons cooperative game theory to transform that into multiple persons cooperation game problem. Then, several basic propositions from the game are given, and a profit allocation scheme is designed in accordance with the core of the game. Finally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the theoretical results and made the sensitivity analysis of parameters on the optimal solutions.
