Characteristics Research on Energy-harvest Semi-active Seat Suspension with Magnetorheological Damper

  In view of the disadvantages of tradition seat suspension comfort and large energy consumption of the semi-active seat,an energy-harvest magnetorheological semi-active seat suspension based on piezoelectric structure is proposed.The three degree of freedom vehicle seat suspension model and the piezoelectric cantilever beam energy-harvest simulink model are established,and the force characteristic curve of the MR damper is obtained through the experiment.The simulation results show that,when the vehicle speed is 60Km/h,a single piezoelectric cantilever beam energy-harvest power is 0.7046W,total energy-harvest power is 46.79W,energy-harvest efficiency can reach 29.74%.Piezoelectric energy-harvest test shows that a single piezoelectric cantilever beam energy-harvest power is 0.5465W,verified the feasibility of magnetorheological seat energy harvest structure.
