A Hybrid Power Conditioner for Co-Phase Power Supply System and Its Capacity Analysis
With the development of electric locomotives in the direction of high speed and heavy load, the problems of negative sequence current and excessive neutral section in traction network have become more serious than before. Thus,a hybrid railway power conditioner(H-RPC)is proposed for co-phase power supply system to solve these problems. In this paper, the topology and compensation principle of the system are analyzed,as well as the optimal parameter design method of coupling branch under load fluctuation condition. The analysis results show that the capacity of the H-RPC is significantly lower than that of the traditional RPC system under the same compensation task. Finally,a system model is established on the Matlab/Simulink simulation platform, the simulation results show that the capacity of H-RPC is lower than the conventional RPC systems by 17%,verifying the correctness in compensation and capacity analysis.
