An Algorithm of Reconstructing LiDAR Building Models Based on Isoheight
Aiming at the problem of complex roof reconstruction in airborne LiDAR data processing,an algorithm of reconstructing building models based on isoheight is proposed in this paper.Extracting points in the elevation scopes and fitting contours in different elevation,the key points of the roof models can be got.By the key points,we can get roof planes intersecting lines approximately.Through the intersecting lines and isoheights,the points can be clustered to different point sets and different roof planes are reconstructed.Finally,the reconstructed planes are combined and the building roof models are obtained.The simulations are based on different kinds of building roofs,results prove that the algorithm can be used to reconstruct different kinds of building roof models of airborne LiDAR.
