The Application of the Wireless Sensor Network on Port Wharf Structure Health Monitoring
In the wharf structure health monitoring systems, the systems exit low efficiency of data transmission and no effective data processing problems, which result in less effective reflecting the health status of the wharf structure. In order to improve the data transmission efficiency and make a better use of the data,an intelligent wireless sensor network(WSN)method and multi-sensor information fusion technology is proposed in this paper. In wireless sensor networks(WSN),a deployment method of the sensor nodes is developed to balance the energy consumption of sensor nodes with limited energy. In data processing,a kind of multi-sensor information fusion technology called hybrid data processing was suggested into the monitoring system, the hybrid data processing divided the WSN system into sensor node layers and the data gathering layers.A polynomial fitting method is introduced in the sensor node layers to record and predict structure strain changes, enhancing the system robustness; based on the polynomial fitting results, the data gathering layer adopts the point-line-face data processing approach, fitting the limited and discrete data into synthetic surface strain changes, making the carrying capacity of wharf structure visualization; The system is used in the practice, the test data has proved that this methodology of the port wharf health structure monitoring based on WSN is of great significance, the data processing method can fully describe the carrying capacity of the wharf structure with a strong stability, the research provides a new thought and method on wharf structure health monitoring.
