Risk Assessment for Distribution Systems Based on Key Performance Indicator

  Based on the deficiencies for risk indicators of fault probability and consequences application in distribution systems,the strategy of risk assessment for system operation based on health and importance indices is proposed.The health index oriented to system running states and importance index geared to the user diversity are defined,by comprehensively thinking about the development situation of distribution network and distinction of consumer requirements for the power service reliability.Moreover,the rules for selecting health and importance levels under influences of different risk sources,together with the combination assignments method for weighting are elaborately analyzed,in order to contribute for the risk assessment architecture model establishment.In addition,corresponding risk assessment software platform on the theoretical basis of health and importance indices are explored,to realize functions of real time perception,risk evaluation and warning in the distribution system for practical engineering projects.Finally,an actual 59-node system have been chosen for demonstration experiments,and it can be aware that the risk states are seasonably reflected by test results with specific time section information,furthermore prevention control actions are automatically taken in alert risk condition to enhance the security operation and power supply dependability,which testify the correctness and feasibility of the proposed strategy.
