A Position Estimation for Switched Reluctance Motor Using Full Cycle Envelope
A full cycle pulse current peak envelope sensorless technique is presented in the paper,using the pulse injected and the chopper control mode with fixed chopping falling time for the rotor position detected.The high frequency pulse injected in the non conducting region,the chopper control mode in the conducting region,the discrete peak values of the pulse current are detected,the full cycle pulse current peak envelope are formed by the fitting mathematical technique.Based on the relationship of the variation of phase current with the inductance,the rotor positions are estimated by comparing the pulse current peak envelopes.The simulation results show that the proposed method is sufficiently accurate and works effective.
