The Dynamic Buckling Response of V-type Insulator when Wind Swinging Occurs on the Ice-Covered Conductor

  Ice-coating will make the transmission line withstand excessive mechanical load,causing a great threat to the stable and secure operation of power network.Under strong-wind circumstance,galloping,conductor swinging,ice shedding and other non-linear dynamic response will occur to the ice-covered line.Whats worth mentioning is that in the compact transmission line,conductor swinging will not only bring about the flashover trip accident,but also lead to the buckling deformation of the V-type string,causing fracture accident of insulator.In this paper,the dynamic buckling response of the V-type insulators is obtained by simulating the wind swinging of compact transmission line under gale and icy circumstance.Firstly,the buckling stress of the V-type insulator of the icing transmission line under the action of steady wind,pulsating wind and impacting wind is calculated and compared.Then,different wind speed and different icing thickness are taken into consideration under the impact of wind load.Whats more,buckling stress changing processing of uneven icing on different span is calculated.Finally,the case when wind-deviation and ice shedding happens simultaneously is explored.The article will be conducive to the anti-swinging design of the transmission lines in gale and icing area.
