Icing Flashover Risk Assessment of UHV Transmission Lines Based on Meteorological Parameters
UHV transmission line can achieve large-scale and long distance power transportation,and the icing of the insulator may cause the tripping of the transmission line,accurate assessment of the UHV transmission line ice flashover risk is of great significance to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the power system.In this paper,we analyzed the mechanism of the transmission line insulator icing and ice flashover,we established the transmission line icing model considering meteorological factors,thus we can forecast the ice flashover voltage and get the ice flashover risk level of the UHV transmission lines under different meteorological conditions.Our research can provide decision-making information for the power grid accident warning,making emergency plan and implement emergency measures.
