Research and Application of Anti-ice Technology in China Southern Power Grid
The state of continued icing will cause serious damage to the transmission line,resulting in part or the whole grid network outage.In early 2008,the low temperature rain and snow disaster caused a nationwide outage of 36740 power lines and 2018 substations.The direct economic losses,only in China Southern Power Grid,were as high as 150 billion yuan.A large number of studies on anti-icing has been carried out in China Southern Power Grid,including 1)the construction of anti-icing laboratory and anti-ice outdoor test site.The icing characteristics of the insulator and the conductor of the transmission line is systematically studied;2)the construction and improvement of icing on-line monitoring and early warning system.A lot of research focusing on the distributed fiber ice monitoring,the development of icing monitoring device and model,the statistics and analysis of icing data,etc.was carried out.At present,the application is in good condition;3)the research of melting ice technology and development of melting ice equipment.The non-contact laser deicing technology and AC/DC technology were focused.The practical application effect of the relevant technology in the China southern power grid was demonstrated and tested.The developed 60 MW,25 MW and 500 kW ice melting devices were successfully applied to the Guizhou power grid and a wide range of applications were obtained.4)the research of anti-icing coating.New ideas of anti-icing coating research were opened up and the developed new type of anti-icing coating can effectively reduce glaze type of ice on the wire and insulator.The research and application of anti-ice technology was of great significant to master the icing state of transmission line in China southern power grid and suppresses grid accidents due to icing.
