Experimental Analysis of the Surface Convective Heat Transfer Coefficient of Icicle on Transmission Line
The surface roughness of ice has a certain influence on the surface heat transfer coefficient. In this paper, different turbulence models are used to analyze the convective heat transfer coefficient of rough wall. The Reynolds number was varied from 1.4×104 to 4.2×104.The variation of the roughness was 0.5mm<h<1.5mm.The surface heat transfer coefficient was calculated between different Reynolds numbers and roughness.Comparisons shows that the local heat transfer coefficient increases with the increase of the roughness. The results show that the local heat transfer coefficient increases with the increase of the roughness. When the roughness is 1.5mm,the local convection heat transfer coefficient of the k-e turbulence model is 1.03 and the local convective heat transfer coefficient is increased by 14.44%compared with the roughness of 0.5mm.Calculated by the results of the k-w turbulence model, the local convective heat transfer coefficient increases by 20%.When the roughness is a constant, the local convective heat transfer coefficient increases with the Reynolds number increasing.
