Study on Anti-icing Effect of DC Composite Insulators Coted by Semi-conductive RTV
During the icing period, the leakage current flows through the surface of composite insulators coated with semi-conductive RTV,heating the insulator surface to achieve the purpose of anti-icing.In this paper, the coatings with different mass fraction of graphite were prepared. And the effect of mass fraction of graphite on the volume resistivity and the static contact angle of the surface was researched.Based on the seepage effect, the critical value of seepage is about 18%.The mass fraction of graphite has little effect on the surface contact angle of the coating.According to the result of icing test for several groups of samples, and the feasibility of using the semiconductor RTV to prevent icing was proved.
