Hardware Circuit Design of On-load Voltage Regulation Switch based on High Power IGBT

  On-load voltage regulation transformer is one of the effective measures to control the low voltage problem in distribution network.Traditional mechanical load switches have exposed many shortcomings in the continuous development of the power system.This paper proposes a structure of load switch based on the high power IGBT,and shows its hardware circuit design of the execution structure.The scheme has the advantages of no electric arc,high response speed and low maintenance cost.When dealing with the load fluctuation,it is able to detect voltage change automatically and adjust the voltage.It is helpful for the low voltage management,and it improves the power supply quality in distribution network.
