A Novel Doppler Spread Estimator for OFDM Systems under Doubly Selective Fading Channels
The Doppler spread information is an important indicator which helps improve the wireless communication systems,especially in the environments with high mobility.Among the existing Doppler estimation methods for OFDM system require the complex structure which hinders the application under art of the state.To design a practical Doppler estimator,we propose a novel scheme which leverages Teager-Kaiser energy operator.The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed estimator and the comparison with existing methods are also performed.
