A Techno-Economic Cost Analysis of Heterogeneous Wireless Network
Wireless Service Providers(WSP)are currently facing the higher data traffic demands,exponential growth of smart bandwidth-based devices and decoupling of operator margins with network traffic.As new approaches have to be designed and applied to meet those data traffic demands with cost-efficient way in heterogeneous wireless network,the offloading one,as alternative of Macro-Micro,Macro-Pico,Macro-WLAN and Macro-Femtocell infrastructure has been under consideration.More precisely,the offloading of each base station,femtocell using as the alternative have been pointed the cost saving results concerning their low cost and small size.In this paper,we will compare the cost and capacity performance of each base station regarding to economical offloading,using techno-economic Total Cost of Ownership(TCO)approach and evaluate the impact on operator investments and running cost comparing with macrocell structure in our main scenario.
