Modelling of Fuze Electromagnetic Scattering Echo
Fuze echo is an important factor affecting fuzewarhead matching efficiency.Based on the combination of physical optics algorithm and method of equivalent currents, the modeling of near-field echo of extended target was built.A typical encounter model of missile and target was taken as example to study the change of target echo under different irradiation conditions. From the analysis of the results, the local irradiation of target near-field has a great influence on the amplitude of echo. The effect of extended target leads to the aberration of Dopplers frequency, without changing its total trend. The conclusion provides a new idea of design for optimizing fuze-warhead matching plan and determining the best time of detonation.
