BP neural network applied to ADCP wave estimation
New ADCP(Acoustic Doppler current profiler)can estimate surface wave based on current measurement.Now existing tilt correction algorithm only considers attitude angle pitch and roll,for example,TRDI wave processing software WAVESMON suggest if attitude angle pitch,roll is greater than 10 degrees,wave estimation should be tilt corrected.The authors previous research shows that both attitude angle pitch,roll and ADCP setting depth can affect wave estimation accuracy.Considering the existing tilt correction method is not accurate,the BP neural network is used to find nonlinear relationship between wave estimation error and various influencing factors,the research content of the paper is of important significance,which can be used as new tilt correction algorithm basis.
