Distance Measurement Algorithm for Freeway Vehicles based on Zigbee Technology

  The article based on Zigbee research a solution which can achieve new freeway vehicles with wireless system to locate and distance measurement.First,according to practical demand of analysing the location and distance measurement system of freeway vehicles propose developing function and technical indicators of the system.Combine with Zigbee technical features designing overall structure,clarifying selected network topology structure,distributing network address and routing rules,and demonstrating work characteristics for system.Proposing chip selected principle from system function,finally,using CC2431 as the core system chip,which apply six Zigbee modules to construct small star wireless network for supporting hardware.In view of Zigbee protocol stack design software,dissecting systems function to carry out verification.Compared with the method of typical wireless distance measurement analyze the feasibility which apply technology as received signal strength location,and then achieved function of wireless location by using CC2431 core chip.The article applying RSSI location algorithm implements a goal that located monitored vehicles on the real time.The result of Zigbee wireless network located satisfy designed demand.Workload of control center has been effective reduced by stable and reliable data transmission.
