A Capacitor-less LDO with Sub-bandgap Voltage Reference and DFC Compensation Strategy
This paper presents a capacitor-less low drop-out regulator(LDO)with sub-bandgap voltage reference and damping-factor-control(DFC)compensation strategy, which is suitable for system-on-chip(SoC)design.The proposed LDO has been designed and simulated in SMIC 0.18μm CMOS technology. It consumes a quiescent current of 45 μA Withonly 45nA current consumption in sub-bandgap circuit and occupies 152.4μm×152.9μm of chip area. The minimum drop-out voltage is 200mV at the maximum output current of 200mA.The temperature coefficient is 12ppm/℃ from-40℃ to 140℃and the PSRR is 200mV At 1kHz.
