SIGNAL OPTIMIZATION OF THE AE PIEZOELECTRIC SENSOR

  A simple 1D model could not meet the needs of the vibration analysis of piezoelectric disk when the electromechanical couplings in the both directions of thickness and radius are strong.Using its 2-D electromechanical circuit model, we compute the response of a broadband AE sensor that is made of piezoelectric disk with small ratio of diameter and thickness.Finally;we analyze and optimize the performance of piezoelectric sensor for the Acoustic Emission (AE) applications in this paper.
