OPTIMIZED DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION FOR A HIGH-POWER CLASS Ⅳ FLEXTENSIONAL TRANSDUCER
The purpose of this paper is to optimize the design of the traditional class Ⅳ flextensional transducer to realize small volume, low frequency and high power emission.This paper considers the factors that affect the maximum sound source level of the class Ⅳ flextensionall transducer, taking into account the limits of the work of the transducer, including the voltage limit, the mechanical limit and cavitation limit.Through the finite element simulation analysis, the key structure, size, material demonstration and optimization of the transducer are improved, and the transducer prototype is designed and fabricated.Test results show that the prototype reached the expected target, the sound source level treached 200 dB or more.
