VIBRATIONS OF PERFORATED BEAMS FILLED WITH FLUIDS
A theoretical study on natural frequencies and mode shapes of perforated beams filled with ideal fluids is presented.In the analysis, it is assumed that the beams are simply supported at both ends.The Rayleigh-Ritz method is used for the accurate analysis of perforated beams with different patterns of hole and fluids.The accuracy is improved with the increase of order of displacement functions, and satisfactory results are obtained.The results have also been verified by observing a good agreement with earlier results and the finite element analysis.The analysis is intended for applications of piezoelectric inkjet printerhead structures.
