The Application of Brain Image Big Data to Medical and Health Care

The combination of medical and health care has been proposed to be the guideline and future direction for the long-term care system in face of the rapid challenging ageing society in China.Although public and private sectors have planned and tested various programs to maintain the elderly participants cognitive functions by referring to activities in institutions abroad, there have not been comparative studies investigating the effects of these programs on Chinese elderly.Therefore, there is a lack in consistent conclusions on what programs are beneficial for the Chinese elderly and how these programs really facilitate the integration of medical and health care.There is an urgent need to find solid scientific evidence for these programs and pursue carefully designed effective long-term care programs based on evidence.
