Empirical Analysis of the Interaction between Sino-foreign Relations and Chinas Outward Foreign Direct Investment
This paper uses the PVAR model to study interactions between sino-foreign relations and Chinas foreign direct investment.The overall conclusion is that foreign direct investment improves international relationship with limited effect.However, international relationships have a great influence over foreign direct investment.Better relationships could help promote the development of foreign direct investment, but it could also hinder the growth of foreign investments.This paper researches the panel data between China and 12 major countries from 2003 to 2015.This paper concludes that bilateral economic relations develop wellbetween countries with harmonious relations.Furthermore, economic links will continue to reduce conflicts and promote cooperation.
