Heterogeneity of Cultural Capital and The Efficiency of Chinas Economic Growth
This paper is based on the heterogeneous cultural capital perspective and it depicts the path of heterogeneous cultural capitals which are variety of Confucian ethics, commercial spirits and the combination with confliction of the two affects the Chinas economic growth efficiency.We also do empirical tests on Chinese provincial panel data during 1997-2012 year with the stochastic frontier model (SFA).The conclusions show that the heterogeneous cultural capitals that is the Confucian ethics and the commercial spirit are contributing factors to the efficiency of Chinas economic growth, but non synergies between both of them has limited the growth of efficiency.Therefore, to maintain a long-term, high growth of Chinas economy, we should not only improve the cultural capital stock, but.also more urgently promote the integration of two heterogeneous cultural capitals.
