Relationship between in vitro fermentation parameters of different total mixed rations and dairy cattle production index
Introduction In vitro production of gas is a very effective method for assessing the nutritional value of ruminant feed.It can be used to determine a large number of samples at a time.Compared with the in vivo method.A large number of test animals are not required and the results are highly correlated with the in vivo method. The method has been increasingly used in ruminant nutrition research feed.Menke and others used of in vitro gas production method successfully predicted the nutritional value of fermentation substrate (Menke,1993).Ramin cultured in vitro by using hay as a culture substrate. The results showed that the in vitro gas production method could well estimate the methane yield and parameter model (Ramin, 2012).The aim of this study was to establish a correlation between in vitro fermentation parameters and dairy cow production indicators by in vitro fermentation models to assess of dietary formula reasonably.
