Introduction Cryptosporidiosis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by cryptosporidium infection (Xiang Yet al., 2010).Cryptosporidium usually parasitizes in the epithelial cells of gastrointestinal tract in the host, and causes severe diarrhea.So far, Cryptosporidium animal model have been established (Zhu Met al., 2003)and the treatment of cryptosporidiosis has been studied in vitro (Hijjawi NS et al., 2002;Wen PC et al.,2011;Elwin K et al., 2012).However, there is still no effective drug for treating cryptosporidiosis.A possible reason is that the Cryptosporidium have multidrug ABC transporters to inhibit anti-protozoa drugs and to enter the protozoa bodies (Perkins ME et al., 1999).
