Culture and identification of immortalized bovine rumen epithelial cell line
Introduction Nutrition of ruminants is dominated by manipulation of the microbial fermentation that occurs in the rumen.Rumen is a gathering place, including bacteria, fungi and some small protest, and therefore it has the function of fermentation.70-80％ of nutrients become metabolites in the rumen microbial metabolites,including short chain fatty acids, Rumen epithelial cells to absorb short chain fatty acids get the energy, can be used for ruminants to life activities.At present, most researchers cultivation of ruminant animals rumen epithelial cells, mostly by cattle and sheep.For other ruminant animals rumen epithelial cells culture techniques in vitro rarely make the news.More important is the rumen epithelial cells to cultivate only limited to extend, after, the cell appeared senescence and apoptosis.Therefore, the aim of this study was to establish immortal bovine rumen epithelial cell and laid the foundation for establishing the model with the bovine rumen nutrition absorption mechanism.
