Analysis on Three-dimensional Transient Temperature Field of Permanent Magnet Based on ANSYS

Compared with the traditional electromagneti-c contactor, the permanent magnet (PM) contactor has the salient merits include energy saving, and noise free.However the PM is easy to be affected by temperature, which affects the dynamic characteristics of PM contactor.In this paper, based on the finite element simulation software ANSYS, the analysis on three-dimensional transient temperature field of PM actuator is carried on.Firstly, the thermodynamics, heat source and heat dissipation of the PM actuator are studied.Secondly, during the switching-on process, the simulation on three dimensional transient temperature field of PM is carried out based on ANSYS.Finally, the effect of temperature on the dynamic characteristics of PM contactor is explored.The results show that the temperature of PM has a great influence on the dynamic characteristics of PM contactor.The research results have important significance to improve the reliability and performance of the PM contactor.
